The Dogfather - Residential Training at The Dog Training Academy

Residential Training is undertaken on our premises, where your dog will be housed in the most luxury of surroundings, our fully insulated kennel block, comprises bedrooms with enclosed and covered run. Your dogs training will work towards one of the Kennel Clubs Good Citizen Awards dependent on the dogs ability.

Zak in his down stay I conduct residential training for the period to suit your dogs needs, you will then be invited to train with your dog on the "hand back day".

Pictured Left : Zak - a beautifully bred young male that has just had a months tuition with me, and is ready for “hand-over”. He is going to make his owner very very proud.

Pictured Left : Joey came in to us for a while to be taught general dog obedience and his one hang-up was cats. As you see from the picture in very short time, he learned that he must not chase cats and when asked to stay down must also stay under pressure of a cat such as one of ours (really cheeky) almost teasing him by getting into his space.

Pictured Right: Tilda a 6 month old Weimeraner - a beautiful girl that was not listening to her owners at all.... She's now doing a sit stay and awaiting Zeps return for her "Hot Dog Sausage" treat. Tilda was with us for 2 weeks and a pleasure to train.

Pictured Left: Misty - belonging to Liz and Chris doing a SIT STAY with the horses as distractions, whereas, one week earlier wouldn’t even do a sit stay or behave around other animals.... keep up the good work now Liz.

Pictured Left: Tess & Cally came to stay for a couple of weeks as they had turned into a couple of reprebates, their owners are pleased to report only after a short while back home Tess passed her KC Gold Award and Cally passed his Silver.
